Nicola Jane Inspirational Women on the catwalk
For the 2nd time this year the Nicola Jane Mastectomy Swimwear Collection has been shown at London Fashion week on the House of iKons catwalk. This range has been modelled by Nicola Jane customers.
Having previously featured in the House of iKons Fashion Show during London Fashion Week in February, we were delighted to be asked again to attend their fashion show on Saturday 23rd September at the Cambridge Roar. This time we previewed our brand new Spring/Summer 2018 Mastectomy and Post-Surgery Swimwear Collection.
During the show pieces from our Post-Surgery Swimwear Collection were worn by women who have had surgery due to breast cancer. Two of these women were Debbie and Jayne, our very own Nicola Jane Inspirational Women 2017. Since its conception in 2014 The Cambridge Roar, a festival of charity events raising funds for worthy causes has raised £55,000 for their nominated charities. This year their charities included the Arthur Rank Hospice which supports people who are living with a life-limiting illness. This year’s fundraising efforts were a great success and we loved being part of the event.
Debbie, Jayne and the other Nicola Jane Inspirational Women looked fabulous in our swimwear pieces, proving to women everywhere that you too can look feminine, fabulous and walk with confidence after breast cancer.
As well as our brand new swimwear collection featuring on the catwalk, we also had a pop-up shop at the event allowing people to order items from the Nicola Jane Mastectomy and Post-Surgery Collection.

I had my first mastectomy in 1987 when I was 42 I subsequently had my first Tankini from Nicola Jayne at the time I thought it was very expenses but my husband bought it for me. It was fab and I loved it after that I bought all my Tankini from yourselves and over the years the price has come down. In 2014 I had a second mastectomy at the age of 70 and have continued to buy my swimwear and swimming prosthesis from yourselves. For the past few years because the Tankinis tops were so lovely I have worn them through the day with my shorts and have had lovely comments made not only with the tankinis but also when I have been wearing only the top. I only wish that we had a shop up north. Thank you Nicola Jane. (My daughter is called the same name but her Jayne as you can see has a y in it)
